Immediately adjacent to Highway 4, this irregularly shaped site in Pittsburg will be home to 71 units of affordable rental apartments.The proposed project will replace a vacant lot in a residential neighborhood with much needed affordable housing. 

The buildings include a mix of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units in a variety of flats and townhouses. In addition to the 71 rental units there is a community building that will house a large community meeting room, 2 classrooms, a computer lab, laundry facilities, and management offices.The buildings are located on the site so as to maximize light and views for every unit.  Every unit has light on at least 2 sides and views onto the community green spaces.  The buildings have been designed to foster interaction among the residents and to enhance resident security through an “eyes on the street” method.
