General Background:

Van Meter Williams Pollack is an award-winning multi-disciplinary architecture and urban design firm with offices in San Francisco and Denver. We are an open and progressive office with a variety of challenging projects. Our architectural work includes mixed-use, multi-family, and affordable housing projects. Our urban design work includes Transit-Oriented Design, master planning and specific plans, and design guidelines. Each of our projects includes an active community process where we work together with local stakeholders in workshops, charrettes, and meetings to prioritize goals and create a future vision of their place. All of our work emphasizes urban infill and sustainable practices.

VMWP is a Mac-based office. We are seeking dynamic individuals with well–rounded experience who are committed to design and the environment. We have an open, diverse work environment. Our San Francisco office is located in the South of Market/South Park neighborhood and is within walking distance of BART, CalTrain, San Francisco MUNI, and the transbay terminal. The Denver office is in lower downtown and is within walking distance of RTD Light Rail.

Junior Architectural Designer
The Denver Junior Architectural Designer position includes producing schematic presentations, construction documents and general project support. Office wide activities includes organizing, and supporting construction observation activities. Excellent CAD production skills are required. As VMWP utilizes ArchiCAD, ArchiCAD experience is a strong preference. The junior designer position requires an architectural degree, and a minimum of 2 years professional architectural experience. Salary is dependent upon experience.

Project Architect
The Denver Project Architect position requiers an architectral degree and a minimum of 10 yars professional architectural experience. The ideal candidate must be registered in the State of Colorado and have experience in developing high-density housing, mixed-use and commercial projects. Superior project management, production, and construction administration skills are also necessary. Salar is dependent upon experience.
