Santa Fe Transportation Center
Pasadena, CA

The Santa Fe Transportation Center is an urban design plan for a multi-nodal transit oriented development on a 5 acre downtown parcel adjacent to the central city park. The project illustrates the potential for over 200 units of new housing, both market rate family housing and affordable senior housing; commuter parking for 868 automobiles; and 56,000 sf of street front commercial retail under the parking structure. The project also includes a regional bus station, a commuter train station and the adaptive reuse of the historic Santa Fe train station into a commercial market and restaurant space. Public open space and pedestrian connections are a priority in this project.
