Fannin Station TOD

The vision for the Fannin Station TOD is one of reconnecting a disconnected series of properties into the redevelopment of a  mixed-use, transit-oriented district, made up of a variety of neighborhoods centered around pedestrian-oriented places.  The existing Main Street light rail line and transit stop that bisects the district is currently not being taken advantage of for pedestrian oriented land uses. The intent for Fannin Station is to capitalize on this excellent transit amenity and public and private investment to create synergistic urban land uses for pedestrian and transit oriented activities.

Fannin Station TOD is intended to be incrementally developed over time into districts of: employment, housing, retail, entertainment and open spaces. This concept masterplan provides for a blueprint on how this might happen.
