MacArthur Boulevard Conceptual Streetscape Improvements Plan

Macarthur Boulevard plays an important role as both a major city boulevard and a neighborhood street. However its role has changed over time and the street does not support the active vitality it once did. Currently the corridor is blighted and economically distressed. Vacant and blighted properties, an aged streetscape and a lack of quality commercial activity mark the boulevard's decline.

The Macarthur Boulevard Streetscape Concept Plan provides enhancement plans for targeted areas along Mac Arthur Boulevard generally at 73rd to 76th Avenues, 90th Avenue and 107th to 109th Avenues in the Foothill Square Area. The goal of the streetscape enhancements is to provide a quality public presence and add safety while acting as a catalyst for new private investment in these targeted areas and along the corridor as a whole.
