This workshop will showcase project goals and design considerations that optimize wellness, to help create health-focused, inclusive affordable housing in the South Bay. The workshop will tell the story of two projects, starting with the intent, realization, execution challenges, and post-occupancy realities. Workshop attendees will take away best design practices for permanent supportive housing properties, with health-focused and trauma-informed design considerations. With inclusive art and healing architecture, residents are not only respected, but celebrated.
